About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer with a strong back-end foundation—ideally in Python and Django—who is either experienced with or open to growing in front-end technologies, especially React. You’ll play a central role in developing new product features, owning technical execution across the stack, and helping to improve our code and architecture as we scale. This role is ideal for someone who loves end-to-end ownership of features, values clean code, has a deep product sense, and enjoys working autonomously in a collaborative environment using best-of-breed tools.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop robust back-end systems, APIs, and data models with Django and Django Rest Framework.
Develop well-functioning front-end UIs in React.
Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot and scale app (possibly with help from DevOps engineer).
Own the full development lifecycle—from ideation to testing, deployment and monitoring along with teammates.
Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, CodeRabbit) to accelerate development and automate repetitive tasks.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver impactful features, and with the support team to resolve customer issues.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with attention to performance and scalability.
Continuously improve development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
Mentor team members, share knowledge, and contribute to technical decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework.
Experience with modern front-end technologies or willingness to learn and work in React.
Solid understanding of object-oriented principles, clean code practices, and system design.
Proficiency with relational databases, Docker, and Linux-based deployments (familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus).
Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and modern development workflows.
Being a product-minded engineer, always thinking of ideas to improve the product for our customers.
Comfortable working with AI-assisted tools to increase productivity.
Strong communication and collaboration skills; experience working remotely and asynchronously is a plus.
